Welcome Buggy

I started this card last week, but decided I "needed" a die cut Welcome on the top half of this card.  So I  searched the internet and found this Lil' Inker die.  It serendipitously arrived yesterday, the same day Darnell's NBUS Challenge #9 was announced with an optional theme of "hidden word".   So I've used the "Hidden Word" technique for my sentiment.

Challenge 312 at Less is More has the theme "New Beginnings" so I'll be entering my card over there.

Did you notice the glisten on the elephants' ears on the "nursery wall"?  This week's Casology Cue Card is Glisten so I'm entering there as well!!!

Do-Al(l) Kreatives Challenge # 1 is New Beginnings so I'll be entering there as well.

Edit : I swiped a hint of Seaglass Pigment Ink (ColorQ) over the buggy and embossed it with clear powder.  I'm a little happier with it now.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your visits and comments always make me smile,
Kate

  1. Your hidden word design turned out beautifully. Mine was a flop but at least I tried. I might have to try it again some day.

    1. So was mine, if you look closely. But we learn from our mistakes and the second attempt was better.

  6. You card was great before the edit, Kate, but the buggy was another rather hidden item, so I LOVE how you jeuzzed it up with color! It really pops now, makes the fun of the hidden word even more fun, and really makes the beadboard stand out! (I do love beadboard!) And I love the nursery wallpaper with the ellies and their schparkly ears! Cute, cute, cute!!

Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #9 and thank you for your kind get well wishes! I love when Serena Dipity pays a call and things just magically fall into place like they were meant to be!! Hugs, Darnell
